Here are a couple of pics taken on Andrew's birthday. I love the one of his beaming smile! I wish he could have a birthday everyday because his energy level was just great!!! He asked for my Oreo ice cream pie I make instead of a cake. He even wrote in his thank you notes how good the pie was. :) This boy makes my heart smile!

I became a mom for the first time! Hard to believe, but it's been 11 years, today! Happy Birthday to my sweet Andrew!

Mito Kids Rock!

I found a new website today and wanted to share it. They have shirts that say "Mito Kids Rock" and they have a new book written for kids to help them understand mito. The book is called "Energy Makers and Mito Kids" and it's only $5 + shipping. I ordered one and it's on it's way here already.

Of course this ugly disease hits home for us, so anything we can do to promote research is worthwhile. We continue to pray for quick research and slow progression for Andrew. Thanks to answered prayers, he's doing great right now!!
