Thankful Thursday

Another week gone by and time to count our blessings...

• I'm thankful for warmer weather and sunshine!
• strawberry season!
• my neighboorhood and seeing people more now that the weather is nice
• that Court got his call to work the men's Walk!
• Andrew's good week
• for Isaac's infectious laughter!
• that the Indy Mito Clinic is a reality now
• that we have absolutely nowhere we have to be on Saturday...woohoo!!!

Sometimes I wonder...

what people must think when I do really dumb things. Of course, I'm still giggling about Lauren's McD's experience when I went out and had one of my own today.

We were headed down to the hospital for Andrew's physical therapy appointment, and I was driving so Court could doze off. My head was pounding and I decided a quick stop at McDonald's for a caffiene fix was exactly what I needed. I pulled around to the window to order, only I totally skipped that step and tried to just pay the lady. Even worse, I didn't have money in my hand, but two red, rapid release Tylenol! She kind of laughed at me, then guided me through the process like I'd never been there before (I'm sure she thought so, at least!). At last, I got my caffiene, took my Tylenol and headed down the road. My poor husband was a little worried and needless to say didn't get his catnap in afterall!

• I'm thankful to catch up with old friends :)
• so glad summer break officially arrived today....woohoo!
• that Courtney's Dad is living near us now...and his Mom will join him soon!
• that we finally had a dry night to get our first ball game in last night
• for the upcoming Women of Faith conference and all the details God is working out for me...including building us a brand new hotel to stay in!! (If you build it, we will come...lol)
• for being able to see the amazing way He is working in my life and those around me
• for our girls night tonight
• that Seth updated his blog :)
• that summer means I'll see more of my sister and the kids
• for a beautiful spring day

I've been thinking of doing this on my blog, then God confirmed it for me last night. We are to "pray without ceasing", but we also must remember to add in some praises, too. So, I'll list some things I'm thankful for this week and you do the same, ok?

Forever Stamps

I've always been one to find joy in the small stuff. I went to the post office with pennies in hand to buy my extra postage since the rate went up today. I know, it literally only was a nickel I saved, but I got quite excited to hear that my forever stamps don't require extra postage. Woo hoo!! And that, I'm afraid was the most exciting part of my day...my friends who encouraged me to blog might believe me now when I say I have nothing to blog about!! Oh well, at least it gave me something totally random to write about!
